About the Comedian

Jeff Allen has been spouting jokes in the stand-up comedy business since 1978. After years on the nightclub circuit, he started struggling with alcohol and drug addiction, and even almost lost his family. In 1996, he found religion after listening to a Bible on tape that his wife gave him, and he turned his life around. With renewed vigor, Allen moved to a suburb of Nashville and reconfigured his routine to be suitable for all ages. Pretty soon, he left clubs behind and was performing for some of the largest organizations in the country, like the 700 Club and the National Prayer Breakfast.
